Physical prototypes

Metal 3D printer (with MIT professor)

I had a prototyping class in my university where we had to build in teams a metal 3D printer, using the method of electrodeposition with copper sulfate. This project in particular was very interesting because it involved getting expertise in this new technology, and it ended up in reserch assistance with MIT post-doctor Ricardo Roberts.

Trophy making

When I was part of the Student Association in my univertity, I got to design and physically make, allongsite a colleague of mine, trophies for different events, including graduations and the Siemens Challenge (more on that in my CV).

Carwash prototype (first place winners!)

This was another team challenge where we had to build a small carwash, this was the first time I designed something in CAD using SketchUp and also built it from scratch, and sending the CAD file to laser cut. We were the first place winners of the challenge!

Tiny house prototype

Me and my team did the prototype of a tiny sustainable house, where we showed how fotovoltaic and eolic energy in different uses of a regular household. This was to showcase the possibilities available to turn everyone's home more sustainable.
